More Than a Legend: My Time with Bill Walton

Working with the legendary Bill Walton was one of the greatest honors of my career. As a contact hire during his unforgettable bike tours, I provided bodywork for Bill and the cyclists, many of whom were challenged athletes riding alongside able-bodied peers. These tours were powerful celebrations of movement, resilience, and joy.

Bill welcomed me with warmth and generosity. His humor, love for life, and belief in the healing power of movement made every ride feel like a gift. Though we didn’t train in a studio, we shared stories, laughter, and a deep commitment to showing up for others with heart.

His spirit continues to guide my work at Yogi’s Fitness. Every client I serve carries the imprint of those tours. True wellness is about compassion, community, and honoring each journey—and Bill embodied that with every mile.
